Finally Moving On

Thursday is my final day at Yaldhurst Model School then it is on to Chisnallwood Intermediate I am really excited to move I am going to tell you about my feelings, Thoughts, Memories and stuff like that. I feel Nervous, Scared, Happy and excited to go to Chisnallwood Intermediate it will feel weird because I have been at Yaldhurst for 6 years those are my honest feelings about next year. My Thoughts are how many friends I will have, Who my teacher is, What the kids will be like and also what kind of work we are going to get I have some really weird thoughts. A memory I have is camp and student summit they were really fun so that is it for today and just saying this will be my last blog post so please comment and I will leave you off with photos.

Summer Learning Journey Teaser Activity

Grow Something Slides

So about a week before my class grew plants  we did cress heads and bean plants it was pretty fun.  I did a cress head because it looked really fun and it looked like it was the easiest to do so here is a slideshow of my plant who is called Jamie here is his growing adventure.

So it has taken 13 days to grow sorry I dont have 13 slides sometimes I could not find my new photo so there is 8 days and six slides I hope you liked my slideshow.

Cybersmart challenge

Hey guys today I am going to be telling you about cybersmart challenge #26 this challenge was actually quite fun so let me tell you about it. So this cybersmart challenge was fun because we had to create are own monster on google Drawing then we had to blog about it so here is my google slide with my monster on it. The monster has a blue head a blue body orange spikes blue legs and a blue tail

Korfball

So on wednesday my class played a game of Korfball it was really fun so the game is where you have 4 or 8 people adside and your can only mark your own gender so if you were a boy you could only mark a boy if you were a girl you could only mark a girl. So we have Korfball again next Wednesday I think and It is with are good coach Yuri he is pretty cool so in Korfball it is Netball and Basket ball combined so I got 2 goals and I was pretty happy about tose 2 goals.

So Also I slipped over which was okay because it did not hurt. So after we finished Korfball we went back to class and went home also here is a little DLO for you guys ENJOY

Cybersmart Challenge #23

So today My class did A really quick Cybersmart Challenge It was pretty easy all you had to do is there is a chromebook with Emails and pop ups asking for your adress email  date of birth and full and there is a text box you have to write of the email or pop ups are legit or fake and then you have got to write why it is fake or legit it is pretty easy it only takes like 3 miunets so yeah it is pretty easy so yeah have a go and try it yourself.

So today I did a teaching session with my teacher Sahil, Nishka, Zach, Stella, me, and Zahrah. So today I thought this was pretty good and fun to learn about new animals that I never knew of some of them were a bit creepy so here is a photo of what I did 

Hope you liked it it was pretty fun and also fun and cool to learn about other animals. So yea so my favourite animal is the bearcat because it is cute fluffy and it kinda reminds me of a cat so yea today's session was pretty fun

My Birthday

 Hey Bloggers so In 14 days it is is my birthday and I am excited because I am getting a brand new phone because my one is broken there is cracks in the screen so I am happy to be getting a new one and I am also getting an oodie which is good and I am also getting a scooter ramp to practice my tailwhips and do my 360's better because today I finally did a 360 so yea I was excited about that I also found out that we will be in level 3 for my birthday so we can hopefully have pizza for Tea my fav and this year my mum is going to buy a vanilla icing cake and two number 1 candles and we will buy sprinkles to put on so yea I am excited so when it is my birthday I will do a post so watch out for that so yea that pretty much does it for now so yea see you guys next time👍🎉

Day 7 of Lockdown

Hi guys so today I have been focusing on doing reading writing and maths so I have done all of them now I'm on to blogging so for reading I had to do 1 lesson on reading eggs then 15 minutes in reading eggs then we had to read for 15 minutes on epic or read a book I read my own book I read Diary of a wimpy kid the third wheel it is pretty good. Then I had to do then we had to do read theory and pass 2 quizzes before we can finish so that is what we have to do for reading.

Then for Maths we had to do are mathletics tasks I had for and then I to do 15 minutes of mathletics then after that I did My number of the week stuff so that was pretty fun. Next was writing for me so for writing I had to do persuasive writing I had 4 topics to choose I picked why winning is the most important thing even know nobody loses everybody wins here is a screenshot of my writing. I hope you like it so yeah that is it

DAY 3 THE ANNOUNCEMENT

So today is the announcement of the rest of new zealand will go to level 3 except auckland and also I am going to be telling you about the covid tracer app so lets get started

1. it is good to sign in because if you were in the same place as someone you might get covid or need a test so they will track you

2. it only takes 5 seconds pretty much

3. it is also good to have bluetooth on

4. it is easy to download

that was my reason and things on the tracer app the app is good to have also because it can help save our country form covid and the world here is a DLO of the app

DAY 2 OF LOCKDOWN!!!!

So Day 2 of Lockdown is here tomorrow is the day Jacinda Ardern announces of new the rest of New Zealand will go to level 3 which I doubt but Auckland will stay in level 4 so far there are no updates we are still at ten cases.

I think We should be in Level 3 or 2 but more level three because it auckland who have the cases and the coromandel the south Island or the rest of the north Island dosent have it so yea thats what I think👍👍✌️

So yesterday I made homemade pizza with my mum then me and my family watched a movie called 100% wolf we also had popcorn after that my family had a game of monopoly then me and my dad went outside and did some rugby training with the tackle bags and the pads we worked on passing and chip kicking and also tackling today we are going to work on scrum, Kicking and also my blowing over so that will be good then after yesterdays training we played handball my dad bet me with is okay because he is real good then that was the end of the day then we watched my favorite tv show millionaire hot seat and we did answered the questions I won against my mum and dad when I win they ow me $5 so I have ten dollars so that's good

Day 1 of LOCKDOWN!!!

                                                                                       Hey Guys

So you all know New Zealand is in Lockdown because we have 4 covid cases in Auckland dont worry I'm from Christchurch and this whole Lockdown was a unexpected one so let me tell you this. So we are in Lockdown for three days on friday Jacinda Ardern will make an announcement for if we move levels if we do it will probably be to Level 3 because we are in level 4 so this Lockdown isn't to hard on me because we can do are school work at home which I think is good.

The reason I am taking this Lockdown good is because I am with my family and I can show them my school work and I am also happy because I also get to spend time with my family when I am not doing school work I can play games with them and stuff like that                          So I hope you guys liked this blog

Bears underpants

Today I am going to be telling you about Bears Underpants it is by Todd H Doodler he writes books about Bears Underwear so I am going to tell you about them. So they are writing and picture book and they are about a bear who wears underwear and sometimes gets bullied which is not good.

 So Bears Underpants is a series he has books like bears pink underwear and Bears underwear mysterious and Bears underwear and last bears different coloured underwear there are much more.

 When I first read Bears Underwear I thought it would be boring but it is actually really funny so I think you should read It.  I really like how it was so funny and I would recommend it too 10 under because it is good and I would recommend it because it is funny and kids under 10 would like it this book it is  really good

Student summit 2021

Today Rimu my class went on a trip to Hornby Primary School and I did Wevideo, Codey Rockey, Canva and create a Quiz using goggle forms it was fun. my favourite session was Wevideo this was called Student Summit 2021 and my presenters were really nice.

I was really excited to come on this trip because I got to try new thing's that I have never done before except canva. For me it was really fun because we got to be with different kids from different schools and it was fun and I learnt so much I am going to try the stuff when I get home I have a little DLO for you.

Camp Series-Post 3 Hobo stoves

Welcome to my third and final camp post and today I am going to be talking to you about Hobo Stoves that  we made in the morning on day three and it was fun.

 So Hobo Stoves are a big can and a smaller smaller can with a rolled up piece of cardboard in it you can cook food or anything on there we made pancake's and that was fun.

 I made my Hobo stove with Sahil, Dylan and Levi's dad Brad and we worked really well together Waipara Adventure Center hooked us up with all the supplies so here is my DLO, I hope you like it.

 Have you been to Waipara Adventure Center? Have you made a Hobo Stove? My time making Hobo Stoves was good because I did it with my friends and my friends dad I also enjoyed eating a pancake.  

              

Camp series-Post 2 Bunkrooms!!!

                                                                            Welcome 

Hello guys welcome back to post 2 so today I will be talking to you about the bunkrooms. So the bunkrooms at Waipara Adventure Center are pretty good so I think that they were comfy, warm, good and they were quit nice. I was on the top for the 2 nights my bunkmate was Zach he was pretty good except for some of his farting and when he woke me up on day 2 The bunk rooms had 5 bunk beds and two single beds. My bunk bed was the one right beside the door so at night when people went toilet I could hear the door going creek creek and it was annoying but I didn't hear it most times Im a deep sleeper. Camp series Post 1 - Activities

Hello guys,

So welcome to my camp series post I hope you guys enjoy them. So my class has been on camp recently at Waipara Adventure Center and it was quite fun. We did a range of fun activities like Swimming, Flying Kiwi, Archery, and a bunch of other stuff. My favourite was Flying Kiwi because you go 15 m high and it is scary and fun. Waipara Adventure Center was quite a good place here is the link to their website here I have some photo's to show you guys so here you go. I also have a DLO to show also down below.

My time at waipara camp was good I learnt it was alright to be scared and that everything is fun and alright and that is all right to try new things that you have never done before.

Cybersmart Challenge #1

This Morning we have completed the Cybersmart Challenge #1 from the cybersmart challenge blog. It was fun and easy because this one was easy and we only had to drag words to the correct sentence and and do a kawa of care with a picture of yourself. So that's what are morning was like.
